New Student Applications for the 2013 – 2014 School Year

• Priority Applications Accepted November 1, 2012 - January 4, 2013
• Applications will be accepted after January 4, 2013

Assessment Test Dates for New Applicants

Appointments are scheduled through the admissions office once the application is complete

6th – 12th Grade Test Dates

• Saturday - January 26, 2013 6th – 12th grades
• Saturday - March 16, 2013 6th – 12th grades
• Saturday - May 18, 2013 6th – 12th grades
• Saturday - June 22, 2013 6th – 12th grades
• Wednesday - August 7, 2013 6th – 12th grades

Specific dates during the spring for each grade. Admissions will contact families to set-up an appointment.

Kindergarten Developmental Assessments

Friday, March 1, 2013 or Saturday, March 2, 2013

NOTE: All parents of kindergarten applicants are required to attend a parent admissions meeting.
Thursday, February 7, 2013 @ 6:30 pm. Parents will sign-up for an assessment date at this meeting.

Campus Visits

Visiting our campus is the best way to experience the learning environment of MCS. We want you to catch a glimpse of our students, faculty and staff in action. On your visit, we hope you see not only our state-of-the-art facilities, but more importantly, the community that makes Maranatha Christian Schools outstanding. You may visit the MCS campus in the following ways:

Campus Tours

MCS welcomes prospective families every Friday, October through May, to tour our facility at 9:00 am. No appointment necessary.

Student Shadowing

MCS welcomes prospective students in grades 6 – 12 to get a first-hand look at MCS. Prospective students are paired with a current MCS student to experience “A Day in the Life of MCS”. Please contact Doris Thurman to schedule a shadow day.

Open House

Grades K – 5th  Thursday, February 28,2013  6:00 pm

We invite all prospective students and families to join us for the opportunity to:

• Tour the entire school facility
• Examine the curriculum and textbooks
• Meet teachers, administrative staff, other parents and students
• Receive enrollment information
