Elementary Academics Third Grade



Bible:

Students will read through main Bible stories, reading for Gods truths and provisions. Students will take these principles and apply them to their own lives through their interations in and out of the classroom.

Text: Biblical Choices for a New Generation

Reading:

Students will be able to explain and write about:

There will be six book reports assigned throughout the school year.
Phonetic and language development is done in combination with the Reading Text.

Penmanship:

Students will begin with review of printing manuscript paying close attention to neatness and correctness during the first quarter.
Cursive practice begins in second quarter and continues throughout the year.
