Parent Action Committee

What is the Parent Action Committee (PAC)?

At Maranatha Christian Schools (MCS) family involvement is highly encouraged! There are many ways for families to lend a hand; one way is to be part of the PAC. This lively group of parent volunteers is involved in every area of the MCS community; promoting projects, events, fundraisers, and providing help to varied activities on campus all the while glorifying God in the process.

PAC exists to build the MCS community, cultivate wholesome school spirit, develop character and instill Christian values, within our school, with our families, and in our surrounding community.  PAC does this by:

  • Promoting school spirit on and off campus
  • Supporting student activities
  • Encouraging volunteerism (parent, family, and business community)
  • Assisting in raising funds to benefit MCS
  • Fostering deeper relationships between the school and parents, and among MCS families
  • Supporting and appreciating the teachers and staff

Getting involved with the PAC helps make MCS an even better place for our students to learn and grow. You’ll find yourself having a whole lot of fun and possibly making lifelong friends in the process!

Due to the varied nature of events at MCS, PAC is always looking for a variety of talents through-out the year, no matter your talent PAC can use it!  If you’re interested in becoming more involved in PAC, please contact Brigit Sheng or Katie Scherpbier.
