beyond the classroom
CO-curricular activities for student success
What are co-curricular activities? Anything students do outside of school work that is not directly school related. Studies show there is a strong positive correlation between co-curricular activities and student attendance, GPA, overall test scores, educational goals, and future SAT scores – which are just around the corner.
We believe that academic and social success starts at a young age, so we encourage all of our students to participate in co-curriculars in order to help build a platform for the future.
ASB
Students in Grades 4-5 are elected to lead and serve the Elementary program by heading up the morning line-up pledge while leading prayers and announcements and give a voice to the students to improve their school.
ROBOTICS CLUBS
Students in Grades 1-5 have the opportunity to participate in Lego’s FLL and JrFLL leagues, where they will learn to build and program robots while working in groups to solve real world problems.
