Administration
Academic Learning Specialist (10-months)

The Learning Specialist is a critical member of MCS’s Academic Resource and Counseling (ARC) Department tasked with providing individualized and/or small group support for students identified with mild to moderate learning differences. He/she will work in close collaboration with our ARC Team and MCS teachers to focus on meeting the needs of these students through the implementation of best practice interventions within our traditional, regular education setting.
Bachelor’s degree and/or Masters degree (preferred) in education and/or special education, valid California teaching credential (single or multi-subject) and/or special education certification. Experience working with children with learning differences in reading, writing, math, attention processing and/or executive functioning skills is required.
Early Education (Preschool)
Early Education Teacher (10-months)
Type of Employment: Full-Time
Level/Dept: Early Education
Salary: $18 - $22/hr.
The ideal candidate should be able to plan and implement curriculum & activities, give students the opportunity to develop their fullest potential cognitively, emotionally and spiritually.
Minimum of AA degree; BA/BS preferred. Minimum 12 ECE units including required State coursework and working towards 24 ECE units. Must have development knowledge for ages and stages with young children. Must be able to be flexible with routines. A passion for working with young children.
Early Education Teacher Assistants (10-Months)

Enhance the educational development of students by assisting teachers and supervising students to help with their social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual development.

Outdoor Lead Teacher Assistant (10-months)

The successful candidate will coach recesses and lunches and manage games. Assisting teachers and supervising students to help with their spiritual, educational, social and physical development with children within a safe, healthy learning environment. Facilities Caretaker

Salary: $18 - $21/hr.
Maintain school facilities by performing a variety of cleaning and custodial maintenance, repairs, and responding to urgent and general facility needs of the staff. Contribute to team effort by working cooperatively with others and sharing ideas to improve the appearance of the facilities. Perform a variety of tasks as requested by the Facilities Supervisor. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. High School Diploma.

International Program Assistant (10-months)
Type of Employment: Part-Time
Level/Dept: HS/International Program
Salary: $20 - $22/hr.
Under the direct supervision of the International Program Director, the International Program Assistant will provide daily support for the management of all international students and homestay program needs. Administrative tasks may include (but not limited to): answering phone calls, responding to prospective student inquiries, maintaining student files, financial record-keeping, leading campus tours, processing student applications, managing monthly reports and payments for host families, proctoring virtual class placement tests, and assisting with special events (typically occurring once a quarter in the evenings). This is an on-site role with regular working hours. However, flexibility is often required due to coordinating with those in significantly different time zones (i.e., early morning or late afternoon video calls). Very occasionally, according to seasonal demands, it will include off-site work (i.e., home visits, airport pickups).
Strong clerical experience with attention to detail (required). Highly proficient across digital platforms: Gmail, Canva, Zoom & Google Suite (required).
Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited college or university.
