Early Education

I have been part of the MCS team since 2009. I graduated with a BS in business finance from San Diego State University. My favorite thing about being a Principal is hearing the joyful laughter of young children on our campus as they discover God’s world around them. I have a passion for nurturing children's development and am constantly wanting to learn more about advances in early education. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and I also enjoy gardening. My favorite verse is Psalm 29:11.

I have been part of the MCS team since 2012. I graduated with a BA in Communications from Sonoma State University and have extensive schooling in Early Education. My favorite thing about MCS is introducing the students to the Word of God and being a light to the families. I have a passion for helping teachers build a joy for teaching early education and I am constantly wanting to learn more about developmentally appropriate practices for young learners. In my spare time I enjoy going to the beach with family and friends. My favorite verse is Ephesians 3:16-19.

I have been part of the MCS team since 2026. I graduated with a BA in early childhood education from California Baptist University and an MA in education from California Baptist University. My favorite thing about teaching at MCS is watching my students grow. I have a passion for helping students grow in their faith and am constantly wanting to learn more about advances in education. In my spare time I like to hang out with family and friends. My favorite verse is Ephesians 2:4.

I have been a part of the MCS team since 2022. I graduated from Calvary Chapel Bible College and have a degree in Biblical Studies. My favorite thing about teaching at MCS is the Christ-centered focus of the school and loving atmosphere. I have a passion for supporting students in their most rapidly developing years in all domains of development and am constantly wanting to learn more research-based methods to support executive skills in the classroom. In my spare time I like to exercise and go to the beach with my family. My favorite verse is Isaiah 46:3.

I have been part of the MCS team since 2022. I graduated from Cuyamaca College and have a degree in early child development. My favorite thing about teaching at MCS is sharing the love of Jesus with the children and my colleagues. I have a passion for teaching children and building their confidence in learning new things and helping build their love for Jesus. I am constantly wanting to learn more about how to become a better teacher and continue building and learning about the goodness of God. In my spare time I like to spend time with my husband and family/friends. I also really enjoy organizing. My favorite verse is Philippians 4:13.

I have been a part of the MCS team since 2022. I graduated from Saint Mary's College and have a degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Child Development. My favorite thing about teaching at MCS is being able to worship God while I am teaching. I have a passion for early education and am constantly wanting to learn more about how to help children learn not only the academic skills but the social skills that will help them grow to be Godly men and women. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family, watch my son play baseball and sing and worship God. My favorite bible verse is John 15:5
 

I have been a part of the MCS team since 2017. I graduated with a BA in Liberal Studies Multiple Subjects from Humboldt State University. My favorite thing about teaching at MCS is the family atmosphere and being able to share about Jesus freely. I have a passion for helping little children discover new things in the classroom and I am constantly wanting to learn more about how to help children with challenging behaviors. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family hiking and at the beach. My favorite verse is Proverbs 3:5-6.

I have been part of the MCS team since June 2026. I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and have a degree in Liberal Studies (Elementary Education). My favorite thing about serving the Lord at MCS is the beautiful community and students the Lord has brought to our school. I have a passion for God’s word and His people and am constantly wanting to learn more about Him. In my spare time I like to spend time outside with my family or read a book while drinking tea. My favorite verse is Matthew 6:26. 

I attended Maranatha Christian Schools since I was in 5th grade and graduated - now a proud alumna! I have been part of the MCS team since November 2025. I love the Christian and faith environment. My favorite thing about serving the Lord at MCS is bringing joy and laughter to children and watching them grow and learn new things. I have a passion for fashion and art. My favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:9
