admissions manager (12-month)

Type of Employment: Full-time
Level/Dept: Admissions

Responsible for assisting the Director of Admissions in receiving inquiries from various channels and responding with admissions information and materials with a marketing/sales approach.  Proctor required assessments for admissions for grades TK through 12th, conduct tours for all three divisions and represent admissions at open houses, information nights and Maranatha Chapel booth.  Assist in processing re-enrollment at MCS, and performing tasks in support of operations as it relates to admissions.

High School diploma with related work experience or some post-secondary education.  Two to three years of recent experience in the area of public relations and/or Office of Admissions, or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the work detailed above.

facilities caretaker lead (12-month)

Type of Employment: Full-Time
Level/Dept: Facilities

Under direct supervision of the Executive Director of Operations, this role manages the day to day maintenance and improvement of an education facility.  Responsible for managing an automated ticketing system and processed in timely manner.  Provides support and directs facility staff on a daily basis of school facilities by performing a variety of cleaning and custodial maintenance, repairs and responding to the general needs of the staff.  Oversee special projects to completion and sports events (as needed). Performs related tasks as assigned by the Director of Facilities.  
High School diploma with at least 3 years work related experience.

preschool Teacher Assistants (10-Month, 2022 - 2023)

Enhance the educational development of students by assisting teachers and supervising students to help with their social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual development.

Minimum 12 Early Childhood Education/California State qualifying college units. Preferred 6 months experience.  Valid 1st Aid and Pediatric CPR certificates needed.

Homestay Coordinator & International Program Assistant (12-month)

Type of Employment: Part-Time
Level/Dept: High School

Under direct supervision of the International Program Director, this individual will primarily recruit, vet, train, and manage host families from within the surrounding communities to provide high-quality homestay experiences for MCS international students.  Management will include some off-site work (i.e. home visits).  Additionally, this individual will provide daily support for the management of all international program and student needs, especially in the Admissions process.  Administrative tasks may include (but are not limited to): responding to prospective student inquiries, maintaining student files, financial record-keeping, assisting with special events (typically occurring once a month during after-school hours), and processing new applications.  

High School diploma and/or bachelor’s degree with some related work experience.

math teacher (10-month)

Level/Dept: High School

Requires sufficient mathematics competency and content knowledge; timely grade entry, parent communication, lesson planning and delivery, scope and sequence documentation, accreditation and UC documentation preparation; professional and personal collaboration, use of relevant and emerging technologies, and more.  

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or related field.   CA Single subject Teaching Credential.  Credential or equivalency.
