Maranatha Christian Schools is seeking individuals with a heart for children, a calling to education, and a commitment to Jesus Christ. We are excited about what God is doing at MCS.

You may submit your completed application to our Human Resources office by dropping it off at the front office or mailing it to MCS, Attention HR. Resumes only will not be considered.

PSP (independent Study) coordinator (11 month)

Type of Employment: Full-time
Level/Dept: High School

Responsible for curriculum development and administrative oversight of MCS independent study program. Excellent interpersonal skills, familiarity with a variety of educational technologies preferred. Experience with the home school community and/or tutoring environment. California Teaching or Administrative Services Credential. Teaching experience and

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Must possess the passion and energy to be a program builder and continue the tradition of our successful athletic programs. Reliable and commitment candidate with previous successful coaching skills.

Science Teacher (10 Month)

Level/Dept: Elementary/Junior High

Responsible to plan, organize, and implement STEAM instructional program that includes after school Robotics clubs. Knowledgeable in NGSS standards, STEAM education practices and programming as it relates to robotics/engineering.

BA/BS degree. CA teaching credential. Multi subject or Science single subject.

Social studies teacher (10 month)

Requires sufficient content knowledge in Social Studies; all typical responsibilities of a teacher are applicable (timely grade entry, parent communication, lesson planning and delivery, scope and sequence documentation, accreditation and UC documentation preparation; professional and personal collaboration, etc.

Single Subject Credential in Social Studies ( or related content area); Bachelor's degree Social Studies/History; Master's preferred.

sound Technician Part-time

Assist with school events in set up and running the soundboard and operating in a live performance setting. High School graduate with sound and A.V. equipment tech work experience.

Enhance the educational development of the students by assisting teachers and supervising students to help with their social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual development.

Minimum 12 Early Childhood Education/California State qualifying college units. Preferred 6 months experience. Valid 1st Aid and Pediatric CPR certificates needed.
