Maranatha Christian Schools is seeking individuals with a heart for children, a calling to education, and a commitment to Jesus Christ. We are excited about what God is doing at MCS.

You may submit your completed application to our Human Resources office by dropping it off at the front office or mailing it to MCS, Attention HR. Resumes only will not be considered.

Athletic trainer/teacher (10 month)

Type of Employment: Full Time
Level/Dept: High School

Assists in development and implementation of programs for the prevention of injuries to student athletes, administers first aid and emergency medical care, and rehabilitation for injuries. Requires medical and healthcare knowledge, the ability to teach sports medicine, exercise physiology, or related subjects, physical and mental capacity for coaching general PE classes. Good judgment and make quick decisions and the ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences and settings. Classroom teaching and coaching responsibilities involve in all typical responsibilities of a teacher.

Bachelor’s degree in Athletic training, exercise science or kinesiology with a Certified Athletic Trainer Credential (ATC). Master’s degree and state licensure preferred.

Administrative assistant (12 month)

Type of Employment: Full Time
Level/Dept: Athletic

Assists Athletic Director to ensure efficient operation of the athletic programs and provide administrative support to the director and coaches for both junior high and high school levels as well as the PE department.

Requires a High School diploma with two (2) years of administrative assistant experience, preferably in an educational environment.

Guidance Coordinator

Type of Employment: Full Time
Level/Dept: High School

Monitor and reconcile period attendance records.  Develop the annual course Master Schedule and all aspects related to its creation. Work closely in support of the College and Career Director to carry out responsibilities associated with all aspects of the Guidance Department.

Bachelor's degree in education or related field required; Master's degree preferred; Professional Clear Pupil Personnel Services Credential preferred.

Human Resources clerk (12 Month)

Type of Employment: Part Time
Level/Dept: Administration

Provides assistance in day to day operation of Human Resources functions and duties, including record-keeping, file maintenance and related duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources. Maintains highest level of care and confidentiality of personnel date and information. Basic knowledge of labor laws both state (CA) and federal.

Requires a High School Diploma, some college and minimum two (2) years relevant experience in human resources preferred.

Responsible to plan, organize, and implement STEAM instructional program that includes after school Robotics clubs. Knowledgeable in NGSS standards, STEAM education practices and programming as it relates to robotics/engineering.

Enhance the educational development of the students by assisting teachers and supervising students to help with their social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual development.

Minimum 12 Early Childhood Education/California State qualifying college units. Preferred 6 months experience. Valid 1st Aid and Pediatric CPR certificates needed.
